Meet Ella Kenny
Ella Kenny is an extraordinary ten-year-old golfer whose passion for the sport shines through her remarkable achievements. Making history as the first-ever girl champion at the Flogas Irish Junior Open Tour, Ella has demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication, and a relentless commitment to excellence on the golf course.
In 2024 alone, Ella's accomplishments reached new heights as she won an astounding 18 trophies across major children's golf tours. Among her many accolades, she secured two world championships: one in Spain at the Under 9’s Division World Junior Golf Tour and another in Northern Ireland at the Under 12's Division of the Champions of Champions. Additionally, Ella claimed victory in the Under 10's US Kids Irish Open, further solidifying her status as a rising star in the world of golf.
Ella's creativity extends beyond the golf course. A few years ago, while travelling with her dad to a competition in Northern Ireland, Ella came up with the idea for a series of stories. The concept truly began to take shape after Ella met sports writer Daragh Nolan, who was covering her golfing achievements. During their meeting, as he prepared to write an article about her before a major tournament in America, Ella shyly shared her story ideas. From there, with Daragh’s guidance and the Kenny family’s support, her imaginative storyboards started to come to life.
Ella's journey, both as a golfer and as a creative mind, continues to inspire those around her, blending her exceptional athletic abilities with a flair for storytelling.
